At Hindustan Laser, we follow a Seven Tank Chemical Pre-Treatment Process to ensure superior surface preparation before powder coating. This advanced process enhances coating adhesion, corrosion resistance, and the overall finish quality—resulting in long-lasting, durable products.
Our Seven Tank Process includes:
Degreasing – Removes oil, grease, and surface contaminants.
Water Rinsing (1st Stage) – Cleans residual chemicals from the surface.
Derusting / Pickling – Eliminates rust and scale for a clean metal surface.
Water Rinsing (2nd Stage) – Ensures complete removal of acid and rust residues.
Phosphating – Creates a protective phosphate layer to enhance paint adhesion.
Water Rinsing (3rd Stage) – Neutralizes remaining chemicals.
Passivation – Improves corrosion resistance and prepares the surface for powder coating.
